Music enthusiast and recording artist Bakari Olivier has stated “I was so excited when I found out that the physical copy included two extra songs.” In the collector’s edition of Drake’s latest mixtape "If Your Reading this..." has two extra songs which are titled “How About Now” which was released earlier in the year and “My Side” which is a heartfelt track which speaks about his point of view of a relationship that he had with a girl.

The digital version of "If Your Reading this..." sold 495,000 copies in its first week of release. This is Drake's third biggest sales drive that he has had. This is only third to Drake's previous two music albums which was "Nothing was The Same" which sold 658,000 copies in its first week and "Take Care" which sold 631,000 copies. This is still amazing first week sales for the rappers newest mixtape which had been released out of the blues with no advertisement.

The release of Drake’s “If Your Reading this..." mixtape copied the way Beyoncé released her self-titled album “Beyoncé”. With no warning, the mixtape was dropped digitally online similarly to how Beyoncé dropped her album.  Cuny student and marketing major Soraya Willams have stated “It’s amazing how he was able to sell so many copies in its first week of release when he didn’t even advertise at all.”

A Cuny student at Queens College Leroy Leslie who is a music enthusiast has stated “This is some of Drake’s best work; I really enjoyed this mixtape so much that I bought the digital copy and also the collectors edition. He is expected to release another album which will be titled “Views From The 6” later this year, so we will have to watch out for that.

Similarly, the article Billboard by Keith Caulfield talks about Drake's latest mixtape and its successes that it has been having. It goes on to say "In a little more than three days, Drake's set has already sold more copies than any other album in 2015 except for Swift's 1989 (which has sold 696,000 so far in 2015)."

Bonus Tracklist of  Drake's "If Your Reading This Its'
Too Late" mixtape.
The article Dailycal by Jason Chen speaks about how Drake's ego plays a major role in his albums success rate over the years. He states "Honestly, why would he care? The dude is worth $35 million dollars. He’s rapped over four acclaimed, platinum-selling albums. At one point, Drake simultaneously put fourteen singles on the Billboard 100 — a record that hasn’t been touched since The Beatles." To pass meet a record that hasn't been touch since the Beatles which was a famous band, is astonishing. Drake has done accomplished so much with the help of his “Octobers Very Own” music label.

With the success of the release of the collector’s edition of the mixtape, fans are continuously showing their support for this talented artist. And If your reading this, It’s not too late to go pick up your copy today. The mixtape has been in stores since April 21st and the digital copy is also available on the Itunes stores.
